Dear BaltiCCyclists!

January...

… a time without bicycle(s)? Well, we have more than 10 degrees BELOW Zero (in Celsius, what makes about 12 degress in Fahrenheit.

Than somehow "naturally" reduces the amount of cyclists.

Strangely, there are still some news on cycling in the Baltic States to tell. If you're close - join the "Calves' fight!" this Saturday in Vilnius

I. Cycle Tour along the Former "Iron Curtain Trail" 2010?

Luigi Benedettini of the Italian "Studio Portabile"  http://www.studioportabile.net intends to cycle the so called "Iron Curtain Trail" between the Former Western and Eastern block - and make it's documentation. Here's a small movie on the project:

And here's his comment:

"I am thinking this iniatiative could be interesting to promote the sustainable tourism along the ICT and to realize it I am looking for possible stakeholder, so if you share it with possible subject that you think it could be involved on this project, I very appreciated.
For any information or request about it please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank for your attention and hope to hear from you soon.
